Kensley Dodson placed 2nd and advanced to the state competition next month in Senior Prepared Public Speaking. We’ve had a great time at the largest Georgia HOSA State Leadership Conference to date! Our students competed against over 4000 students from across the state in various competitions. We had two students make it on stage for the Grand Awards Session. Congratulations to Madison Booth for placing 2nd in Dental Terminology and Emma Register for placing in the top 5 for Veterinary Science! Emma and Madison also serve as Co-Presidents of our HOSA chapter! Madison will go on to compete at the International HOSA conference this summer in Houston, Texas! #OneLowndes @onelowndes

Today, Ms. Exum's Food Science class observed physical changes in food by making Ice Cream in a bag! They were able to visually watch their Ice Cream change from a solid to a liquid. Students enjoyed a sweet treat and an arm workout!😂
