The Class of 2026 will host a Powder Puff football game Thursday, May 2nd at 5:00 PM. Everyone is invited to attend and cheer for your favorite class, player, and cheerleader! Concessions will be available, so come out and support our students! Admission is $5.00.

Congratulations to KC Bellflower, LHS Teacher of the Year! KC has been a math teacher in Lowndes County Schools for her entire 26 years of teaching, currently holding her Specialist degree in Teacher Leadership.

SGMC Trauma Department recently held a billboard contest for Distracted Driving month. LHS Senior Jaydah Gray won first place and a $1000 scholarship while Flint Fosdick, also a LHS Senior, placed second and won a $500 scholarship.
