PGM math club students competed in the AMC 8 math competition, a 40 minute multiple choice exam hosted by the Mathematical Association of America. Today was the first time PGM has competed in this very prestigious competition! ➕➖✖️➗





6th grade science students are collaborating to create digital posters on natural resources! Students began by conducting research on types of renewable and non renewable resources. They then used their findings to create digital posters sharing the pros and cons of each. 💻 #ThreeCs

Grover has learned so much so fast! Today, he passed his test to become a STAR Puppy, which means he’s on his way to earning his Canine Good Citizen title. Before we know it, he will proudly become a certified therapy dog. Go Grover! 🐾⭐️

After reading about the caveman diet, Mrs. Steinberg's ELA students worked collaboratively to become investigative reporters on the topic of “fad diets." They used Google, Explora, and Canva to curate information and create presentations. Groups shared what they uncovered about the werewolf diet, the ice cream diet, the tapeworm diet, and even the cotton ball diet…just to name a few! #ThreeCs

Mrs. Sadler's 6th graders enjoyed last week's Leadworthy Lesson! They worked together to design a mascot for their group and practiced giving and receiving kind and constructive feedback. 😊 #CapturingKidsHearts




Ms. McCormack’s EPIC class researched animals of their choice and created biome boxes showcasing each animal's habitat, predators, and diet! The Military Club was excited to admire their display of animals from all over the world when they met in the media center today. Epic work from the EPIC class! 🦓 🐙 🐍 🐢





Mrs. Rackley's 7th grade computer science students developed algorithms for brushing your teeth. They used the program draw.io to create flowcharts depicting their algorithms before collaborating to revise their ideas! #STEM #ComputerScience


Track tryouts have been pushed back and will now be held on January 27 & 28. Students must have a physical on file in order to try out. 👟


Ninth-grade agriculture students have been collaborating to curate information by creating livestock terminology cards. These dynamic resources will serve as a study aid for their upcoming terminology quiz and double as an engaging and educational game! #Teamwork #Creativity #ThreeCs



Mrs. Justice’s students read an informational article about Fortnite and then debated whether it was good or bad for teens. They also learned that some universities offer scholarships for players! #PGMreads
